On the second attempt (oh, these unpredictable internet connections…) I finally succeeded in uploading this documentary video I shot on 30 September 2012.

It describes a 19th century treasury box built in jail, probably in Ischia, between 1853 and 1855, by Pasquale Montalto - a 1848 republican rebel who had fought against the King of the Two Sicilies in Southern Italy and had been sentenced to 19 years of gaol on 15 September 1851 - and dedicated to his wife, Agnese. Pardoned in 1856, he then retired to his properties near Reggio Calabria, where he died in 1860.
