The University of Milan organized a Satellite Workshop at VL/HCC 2012 - IEEE Symposium on Visual Languages and Human Centric Computing - under the patronage of ICOM Italy.
The workshop (“Creative Design for Interdisciplinary Projects in Cultural Heritage” - CDCH’12) will take place on 4 October 2012 in Innsbruck, Austria, at Congress und Messe Innsbruck GmbH.
My Invited Talk as a guest speaker will be “Standards, Prototypes, and Pilot Projects - Technology and Flexibility in Designing Cultural Heritage Projects in Challenging Contexts”. It will take into account my experience as a cultural consultant for UNESCO in Central Asian Countries like Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, and the theoretical approach fostered by OSACA - the Open Source Alliance of Central Asia.
